New in 2017: Music Classes!
Beatniks on Conkey is offering not just any music class, either: "Band of Beatniks" is a multi-instrument music class for adults in Northwest Indiana.
Playing
music together is one of the sweeter joys in life. Unfortunately, many
of us adults who pick up an instrument do so alone. We may go on for a
while but give up because we're not 'good enough' for jam bands or open
mics. Playing as a group is not only a great way to strengthen your
skills and build confidence in your playing, it's just plain fun--
without the stress of recitals!
No matter what instrument you play, we have a space for you in the band. "But I don't play an instrument," you say. No problem! We welcome everyone who is interested in learning how to play, even if you're just starting out. Rhythm instruments are provided during class, and we welcome all singers.
